It appeared to me that McCain only said a couple things of substance that actually explained what his plans are if he becomes President.  One:  Examine all agencies to find wasteful spending.  Two: “Freeze” all spending on anything besides the War in Iraq and veterans.  Everything else the man said was either an attack on Obama, a mis-characterized statement about Obama’s voting history (I actually looked up the bills he was referencing - http://www.aflcio.org/issues/legislativealert/votes/), a personal story about “when I visited…” or “he’s a personal friend of mine..”  but no actual details on what he’s going to change or how he’s going to execute any of his “plans.” Click to read more …

This is one of my daughter’s favorite books - a daily read at my house, of course and it is often running rampant in my head.  We own a hand-me-over version and the book has a page torn out (3&4).  I just skip it and pretend it isn’t supposed to have something there, but… It’s just not right - the rhyming is off.  Can anyone fill in the blanks for us?
